Another recipe courtesy of my family in BC. Since it's the weekend - a little Rye is OK - right? Serve on a bed of rice with salad.
BC Salmon Marinade
1/3 cup salad oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup rye whisky
salmon fillets
Blend all together. Pour over salmon fillets and marinade a few hours or overnight.
